Tommy Chapman was raised on a Dairy Farm in Fauquier County, VA by his parents Kenneth and Barbara Chapman. Understanding the importance of good quality hay and grain and caring for quality livestock were part of his upbringing. By the time he was in his twenties, he was managing his family's farm. He has also spent 29 years as an electrical and mechanical techinician and manager before bringing his skills to KRQH. He not only maintains the facility and assists with the quality care provided, but continues to make improvements, such as the 80x125 indoor arena complex in 2008.
Leigh and Tommy met 17 years ago and combined their skills, love of horses, and sound farming practices to form KR Quarter Horses. Together they run their business while raising their two children on the Curtis farm along with the assistance of Linda Curtis.
